Paradise On The Lake
Sproat Lake is located on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. 15 Minutes west of Port Alberni (Hwy 4). The cabin is situated only steps from the beach, huge dock and large grassy yard. If the kids are not swimming or boating, you will find them running around the 1.6 acres, all day and night, playing soccer, badminton, man hunt, hide & seek and approximately 100 other games. Adults usually take to the huge dock where they play a game called “happy hr”.
Sproat Lake is known for its warm clear waters, reaching over 25º C, and is free of weeds. The lake has four large arms giving you access to miles of shoreline and lots of calm water. The Alberni Valley is know for its arid climate where temperatures reach 40º C. Large mountains with huge trees surround the shoreline providing spectacular scenery and abundant wildlife.
